Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

InferaStack Pty Ltd (ABN 32 697 043 897) (“InferaStack”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and reflects our alignment with the ISO/IEC 27001 information security and ISO/IEC 27701 privacy information management standards.

1. The short version

  • This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics.
  • The only personal information we collect through this site is what you choose to send us via our contact form.
  • We never sell your personal information.
  • You can ask us to access or correct your information, or make a complaint, at any time — see section 9.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions (APP 3):

  • Contact enquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, your selected area of interest, and the content of your message.
  • Correspondence. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence and your contact details.
  • Essential site operation. Standard web-server request data (such as the page requested and a timestamp) may be processed transiently by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

We do not collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us via the contact form.

3. How your enquiry is handled

Contact-form submissions are delivered to us by email at info@inferastack.com. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss our products and services with you. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Cookies and storage

We use only strictly necessary browser storage — for example, to remember the privacy preference you set in our consent notice. This storage does not identify you and is never used for advertising. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Should we introduce anonymous analytics in future, it will be loaded only after you opt in, and this policy will be updated before any such change takes effect.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it only to the limited extent necessary (APP 6):

  • Service providers who help us operate — principally our website hosting (AWS Amplify) and email provider — who act on our instructions under confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal requirements, where disclosure is required or authorised by Australian law.

6. Overseas disclosure

Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region. Some service providers (for example, email) may process data on servers located outside Australia. Before disclosing personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs (APP 8).

7. Security & retention

Consistent with our ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701 alignment, we apply organisational and technical safeguards — including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and the principle of least privilege — to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access (APP 11). We retain enquiry information only as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, or as required by law, after which we destroy or de-identify it.

8. Your rights

Under the APPs you may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you (APP 12);
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date (APP 13);
  • Ask us to delete information where we are not required to retain it;
  • Withdraw consent to optional processing at any time.

We will respond to access and correction requests within a reasonable period and without charge where practicable.

9. Contact & complaints

For any privacy request or complaint, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@inferastack.com or by post:

Privacy Officer, InferaStack Pty Ltd
Shop 3, 330 Wattle St, Ultimo NSW 2007, Australia

We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes affecting how we handle your information will be made before the change takes effect.

This policy is provided in English and Chinese. If there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
